- Deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on a wide range of AC and HVAC systems.
- Lead complex diagnostics, commissioning, and system optimisation.
- Provide technical support to junior engineers and subcontractors.
- Ensure all works are completed to high standards, with accurate job sheets, asset updates, and F-Gas logs.
- Support project works, installations, and upgrades across airport terminals.
- Carry out QA checks on maintenance tasks, installations, and project works.
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with ISO standards (where applicable).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Assist with client reporting, KPI tracking, and monthly SHEQ updates.
- Attend client meetings, including SHEQ forums and project planning sessions.
- Provide clear, professional communication with airport stakeholders and contractors.
- Join Teams calls with Peninsula, SHEQ, and client representatives as required.
- Support mobilisation of new contracts and onboarding of engineers.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting safe and compliant working practices.
- Maintain personal training and certification requirements (F-Gas, IPAF, PASMA, ECS, etc.).
- Contribute to the development of training materials and competency assessments.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience as an AC/HVAC engineer in commercial or critical environments.
- Strong understanding of F-Gas regulations and REFCOM compliance.
- Experience working in high-security or airport environments (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience with RAMS, audits, and SHEQ processes.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and influence others.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Security clearance eligibility for airport access.
