We are looking for experienced and reliable Domestic Gas Engineers to carry out service, maintenance and repair work within private and social housing properties. This is ongoing sub-contract work with consistent volumes for the right engineers.
You will be working in occupied domestic properties, delivering a professional, customer-focused service while maintaining high safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out annual gas servicing on domestic gas appliances
- Diagnose faults and complete reactive maintenance and repairs
- Work on a range of appliances including boilers, cookers and fires
- Complete all job paperwork and certificates accurately and on time
- Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and current legislation
- Communicate professionally with tenants, homeowners and housing providers
- Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment
Requirements
- Valid Gas Safe Registration (Domestic – CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 as applicable)
- Proven experience in domestic service & maintenance
- Experience working in private and/or social housing preferred
- Own van, tools and calibrated flue gas analyser
- Public Liability Insurance (minimum £2m)
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
