Position Overview:
In this front-line role, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of fire and security systems, ensuring the highest quality of service. You will be expected to complete each project with precision and dedication, delivering top-notch service to our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Maintenance : Install and service fire and security systems in compliance with current regulations and customer needs.
- Service Calls : Provide prompt response to service requests for all types of fire and security systems.
- Out-of-Hours Support : Join the on-call rota (currently 1 in 6) to provide after-hours support.
- Performance & KPIs : Adhere to time targets and performance metrics to guarantee excellent service delivery.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with the coordination and management teams to ensure job coverage and proper stock management.
- Continuous Improvement : Participate in training sessions and team meetings while actively seeking opportunities for your professional growth.
About You:
We are looking for someone with the passion and drive to provide exceptional customer service every day. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience as a multi-skilled engineer with in-depth knowledge of fire and security systems, including both IP and analogue CCTV, intruder alarms, networked access control systems, and fire alarms.
- Experience with Gallagher access control systems is a plus.
- A solid technical background in the electrical or electronics field.
- Familiarity with automated gates, barriers, and shutters is an advantage.
- Good IT skills, especially with Microsoft Windows.
- Experience in customer service is highly preferred.
- A valid UK driving license and flexibility to travel, including participation in the on-call rota.
