Commercial Electrician

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial buildings (lighting, power, control systems, etc.). * Ensure that all electrical installations comply with current electrical codes and regulations (18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations). * Work with circuit breakers, fuse boards, lighting, wiring, and other electrical equipment used in commercial environments. * Perform periodic inspections, testing, and fault finding on commercial electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. * Conduct thorough electrical testing, including insulation resistance, earth loop impedance, and continuity testing. * Prepare detailed test reports and certification for all works undertaken, ensuring all testing is carried out according to the 2391 standard. * Identify and rectify any electrical issues during testing or routine checks. * Ensure all electrical work complies with health and safety regulations and electrical standards (18th Edition). * Carry out risk assessments to ensure the safe installation and operation of electrical systems
