As Esports Marketing Manager at Fnatic, you’ll design and execute campaigns across our franchise game titles, digital products, and fan engagement initiatives. You’ll have award-winning creators, elite Pro-Gaming talent, and our in-house Studios team at your disposal to bring activations to life; and your work will directly contribute to building deep Fnatic fandom globally. You will act as both an ideas generator and a conductor, coordinating internal and external teams to bring campaigns to life and deliver measurable impact. We champion youth culture, innovation, and creativity in everything we do. What you’ll do:
- Ideate, plan & execute integrated marketing campaigns related to Fnatic’s franchised game titles (e.g. Counter-Strike, League of Legends, Valorant, Rainbow Six), and build strong relationships with associated game publishers.
- Develop and execute activations for digital assets and in-game items, as well as product launches and other brand activity; utilising content and creator capability effectively.
- Ensure all marketing activations deliver Fnatic’s brand promise and commercial goals.
- Collaborate with Fnatic Studios, Social, Creators, Product, and Community teams to deliver storytelling and asset creation.
- Manage CRM/product marketing initiatives tied to digital drops and title-specific campaigns.
- Oversee paid social media campaigns.
- Lead campaign measurement, tracking KPIs, forecasting ROI and managing spend.
- Monitor fan sentiment and youth culture trends; ensure activations resonate authentically.
- Perform post-campaign analysis, distilling insights to inform the next iteration.
- Support global roll-out, tailoring campaigns for different markets while maintaining consistency.
- Brief and liaise with external agencies or partners when needed (e.g. for digital items or influencer campaigns).
- Collaborate with Legal on marketing regulations, especially around digital items and international execution.
- Lead ad-hoc Marketing projects defined by your manager.
We’re looking for:
- Proven experience in developing impactful campaigns for youth-centric, consumer or gaming brands.
- Strong understanding of the esports landscape and virtual economies.
- Experience working in a global context, nuancing campaigns for different international markets.
- Creative flair balanced with ability to deliver.
- Data-driven and ROI-focused mindset – comfortable forecasting and interpreting campaign results.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Resourcefulness and flexibility, able to do a lot with a little where needed.
- Excellent written and spoken English; German highly desirable and other languages a plus.
