This is a hands‑on role combining day‑to‑day HR co‑ordination with a number of defined People Operations improvement projects. You will support activity across recruitment, onboarding, HR systems, learning and development, employee engagement, benefits and People governance.

The role would suit someone who enjoys getting things done, is comfortable working across multiple priorities and systems, and can bring structure and attention to detail in a fast-moving, regulated fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

People Operations & HR Systems

Support the ongoing administration and improvement of Deel, including reviewing and improving People processes, workflows, data quality and the employee experience

Maintain accurate employee data, documentation and People records, completing regular data quality checks and ensuring changes are reflected accurately across relevant systems

Support day-to-day employee lifecycle administration, including new starters, contractual changes, probation updates, family and other leave, and leavers

Support payroll administration across Fnality's entities, including preparing and validating payroll inputs, maintaining payroll records and helping resolve payroll queries

Support the administration of employee benefits and pensions, including enrolments, changes, leavers, employee queries and liaison with external providers

Prepare routine People data, reports and trackers, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and readily available for the wider P&T team

Respond to day-to-day People Operations queries from employees and managers, escalating more complex matters where appropriate

Support the review, documentation and continuous improvement of People Operations processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and employee experience.

Recruitment & Onboarding

Co‑ordinate recruitment activity across multiple vacancies, including interview scheduling, candidate communications, interview documentation and recruitment administration

Maintain accurate recruitment trackers and support smooth progression of candidates through the hiring process

Co‑ordinate pre‑employment and new starter activity, working with internal stakeholders to ensure new joiners are ready for their first day

Support improvements to the onboarding experience and associated processes, documentation and materials.

Learning & Development

Support the preparation and rollout of training through the Deel LMS

Upload, organise and maintain learning content and training records

Prepare training and presentation materials, including creating skeleton decks and transferring existing content into Fnality-branded templates

Support the administration and tracking of mandatory learning and policy-related activity.

Employee Engagement

Support the delivery and administration of Fnality's employee engagement survey

Help prepare communications, participation tracking and outputs for the People & Talent team.

People Risk, Governance & Controls

Support delivery of People-related RCSA remediation actions

Maintain evidence, trackers and supporting documentation for People controls

Assist with policy, compliance and audit-related People activity where required

Help ensure People processes and records are well documented, consistent and appropriately controlled.

What we're looking for

Previous experience in an HR, People Operations or HR Co-ordinator role

Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage several activities simultaneously

Experience supporting recruitment and employee onboarding

Comfortable working with HR systems and maintaining accurate employee data

Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

High level of attention to detail and confidence working with sensitive and confidential information

A proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership of defined pieces of work and see them through to completion

Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable working in a changing, fast-paced environment.

Experience using Deel or a similar HRIS, LMS and ATS

Experience administering an LMS or co‑ordinating employee training

Experience supporting employee surveys, benefits or pension administration

Exposure to People controls, audit, risk or compliance activities

Experience within fintech, financial services or another regulated environment.

What success looks like over the six months

By the end of the assignment, the HR Co‑ordinator will have helped Fnality reduce operational backlog within People & Talent, strengthened recruitment and onboarding co‑ordination, progressed key Deel and LMS improvements, supported delivery of the engagement survey and training activity, and closed or progressed priority People risk and control remediation actions.

Why should you join Fnality?

We employ curious individuals who thrive working in a fast‑paced and constantly changing environment, who work best when empowered to drive their own work, and who are not afraid to fail fast and learn quicker.

You will be an analytical thinker who is able to look at tasks and understand the most efficient way to achieve the desired outcome. You will be vigilantly outcomes‑focussed and have an insatiable desire to learn, adept at picking up new challenges and giving anything a go. You will want to deliver as much as learn and you will understand how important the power of the team is.

A bit more about us

Digital transformation is changing our lives, work and businesses. While other sectors evolve, however, financial markets remain slow, fragmented and siloed. What the world needs now is a future‑facing financial system for the digital age.

At Fnality, we have been speaking – and listening – to the real users of today’s financial systems. From businesses to banks, there is a clear, collective ambition for a simpler, faster, safer and more resilient payment system; one that can move and settle money quickly and efficiently, with minimized risk and much more transparency.

FnalityGlobal Payments

We are building a network of new payment systems that will enable tokenised, peer-to-peer markets.

Fnality Global Payments (FnGP) will comprise a series of national systems, each regulated in its home jurisdiction. We call each of these a Fnality Payment System (FnPS).

In each payment system, a Fnality settlement asset will act as the settlement/payment asset for any Payment (P), Delivery v, Payment (DvP) or payment vs. payment (PvP) need.

FnGP are underpinned by Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). The nature of DLT is such that it enables FnGP to:

Operate a true peer-to-peer market

Allow for immediate settlement

Interoperate across business platforms and jurisdictions

The key benefits of the above are:

Reduced counter-party and credit risk

Reduced operational risk

Efficient liquidity management

An ability to move resources from risk mitigation to business growth

You must be eligible to work in the UK to be considered for this role. Please note we cannot sponsor visas for this role.
