They import and trade fresh fruits and vegetables, and right now they are looking for someone to join their team in Kent as apart of their Sales / Trading team. You might already have a bit of sales or commercial experience (especially in a similar industry), but what matters most is that you’re driven, curious, and ready to learn. They will provide full training—you just need to bring the right attitude and a genuine interest in the world of fresh produce. What You’ll Be Doing: * Learning the ropes – You’ll get stuck in from day one, working alongside experienced people who’ll show you the ins and outs of the trade. * Procurement basics – How to build strong relationships with growers and suppliers, negotiate deals, and make sure the quality is spot-on. * Sales development – Getting to know customers, how to price and sell effectively, and spotting new opportunities. * Industry insights – Understanding how markets move, what drives prices, and how the supply chain ticks. * Logistics know-how – Learning how produce moves from farms to customers efficiently (and without losing freshness!).
