Looking to grow your career in fresh produce? This could be your next big move. Our client is part of a larger international fresh produce business. They import and trade fresh fruits and vegetables, and right now they are looking for someone to join their team in Kent as part of their Sales / Trading team. You might already have a bit of sales or commercial experience (especially in a similar industry), but what matters most is that you’re driven, curious, and ready to learn. They will provide full training—you just need to bring the right attitude and a genuine interest in the world of fresh produce.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Learning the ropes – You’ll get stuck in from day one, working alongside experienced people who’ll show you the ins and outs of the trade.
- Procurement basics – How to build strong relationships with growers and suppliers, negotiate deals, and make sure the quality is spot-on.
- Sales development – Getting to know customers, how to price and sell effectively, and spotting new opportunities.
- Industry insights – Understanding how markets move, what drives prices, and how the supply chain ticks.
- Logistics know-how – Learning how produce moves from farms to customers efficiently (and without losing freshness!).
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone who wants to build a career—not just take a job.
- A good communicator with a bit of natural sales flair.
- Some commercial or sales experience (ideally in fresh produce or food, but not essential).
- A team player who’s happy to pitch in and learn as they go.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment.
What You’ll Get:
- Full training from people who’ve been doing this for years.
- A real chance to grow with the business and shape your own path.
- Supportive team, friendly environment.
- Entry-level salary + potential for growth and progression.
If you’re excited by the idea of building a future in the fresh produce world—and want to learn from the ground up—then we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and let’s chat.
