To install and maintain FMH Conveyors range of products on Customer sites in accordance with customer’s needs and requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to install and maintain all FMH conveyors range of products.
- Travel to customer sites to maintain other products within the Duravant Group whenever necessary.
- Train customers on the use of equipment.
- Train customer technicians on service and maintenance of the equipment.
- Carry out all jobs in a safe way, ensuring adherence to Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments.
- Complete detailed site work reports on pause or completion of works.
- Ensure compliance with all associated standards.
- Complete expenses reporting in accordance with the company procedures.
- Maintain a record of time worked, time for travel, etc.
- Strive to exhibit Duravant Core Values.

Qualifications/Education and Person Specification
- Experience of working in a Field Service role (D).
- Experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance and installation (E).
- Ability to travel both nationally and internationally (E).
- Excellent communication skills and at all levels (E).
- Adhere to the company appearance code as per the Employee Handbook (E).
- Open to learning new skills and able to ask for help (E).
- Full driving licence (E).
- A good command of English both written and verbal (E).
- Good level of mechanical fitting skills (E).
- Good level of electrical engineering skills (E).
- Basic level of controls systems and PLC’s (D).
- Basic level of welding skill (D).
- Apprenticeship in Engineering (D).

Additional Information
The role can be physically demanding with heavy lifting, pulling, and pushing and being on your feet for a good proportion of the day. This role includes working inside a boom and therefore within a confined space.
