Responsibilities
- Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full extent of damage, repair costs, and timeframes.
- Identify correct prescribed repair methods and prepare, record, and maintain electronic and manual estimates.
- Liaise with insurance companies to obtain authority for repairs at estimated costs.
- Explain repair methodology to customers, engineers, and technicians to ensure understanding.
- Collaborate with bodyshop colleagues and other functional areas to ensure timely and safe vehicle return.
Qualifications
- NVQ level 3, City & Guilds or ATA/IMI qualification with a solid bodyshop background as an estimator or VDA/Vehicle Damage Assessor, Audatex trained.
- Consideration for VDA Trainee / Improver candidates; salary will be reflective if not qualified.
- Full UK driving licence.
