Responsibilities:
- Estimate accident damage for vehicles of all makes and marques.
- Assess the full extent of the damage.
- Calculate costs of repair and timeframes.
- Identify correct prescribed repair methods.
- Prepare, record and maintain electronic and manual estimates.
- Liaise with insurance companies for repair authority.
- Collaborate with customers, engineers and technicians to explain repair methodology.
- Keep up to date with Thatcham Repair Methods, BSi safety standards, insurer and manufacturer literature and bulletins.
Qualifications:
- Proven VDA/Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator with experience using Audatex.
- Preferred NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or ATA/IMI qualification, solid bodyshop background.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence required.
