Are you a skilled and experienced MET Technician with a passion for delivering high-quality vehicle repairs? Do you take pride in your ability to dismantle, repair, and reassemble vehicles to the highest standards? Join FMG Repair Services, one of the UK's largest and most trusted vehicle repair networks. We're looking for an experienced MET Technician to join our growing team in Birmingham on a night shift pattern, working 40 hours over 4 nights - Mon - Thurs, 2:30pm - 1:00am (30-minute lunch break).
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) repairs to manufacturer standards
- Dismantling and reassembling vehicles safely and efficiently
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults relating to vehicle systems and components
- Ensuring all repairs are completed to the highest quality standards
- Accurately recording all work completed in line with company procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure vehicles are repaired and returned to customers as quickly as possible
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as an MET Technician within a bodyshop environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- A proactive, team-focused approach
- Full UK Driving Licence required
