We're looking for an experienced MET Technician to join our growing team in Birmingham, with flexible working options designed to fit around you.

We understand that one working pattern doesn't suit everyone. That's why we're offering flexible options across our Birmingham operation, allowing you to choose a working pattern that better fits your home life, family commitments and lifestyle. With 40 hour and 45 hour contracts available and working hours available between 6:30am and 1:00am, this is an opportunity to find a pattern that works for you while building your career with FMG Repair Services. Join a team where your skills are valued and where flexibility doesn't have to mean compromising on your career. Late shifts are 40 hours worked over 4 days Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm - 1:00am.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out mechanical, electrical and trim (MET) repairs to manufacturer standards
- Dismantling and reassembling vehicles safely and efficiently
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults relating to vehicle systems and components
- Ensuring all repairs are completed to the highest quality standards
- Accurately recording all work completed in line with company procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently and to the highest standards
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as an MET Technician within a bodyshop environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- A proactive, team-focused approach
- Full UK Driving Licence required
