FMG are looking for a Loss Adjuster (Digital) to join our Claims team in this office‑based role. You’ll manage end‑to‑end property and material damage claims using digital assessment methods — from determining policy coverage and quantifying loss through to preparing repair specifications and managing the repair process. This role plays a key part in delivering timely, accurate outcomes for our clients while balancing quality, cost control, and a strong client focus. This is a 12 month fixed term role and based from with our Palmerston North or Christchurch office.
In this role, you will:
- Digitally assess property and material damage claims accurately and within agreed timeframes
- Determine policy coverage, quantify loss and assess damages within delegated authority
- Prepare repair scopes and manage repairs through to completion
- Undertake regular audits of preferred service provider self‑assessment claims
- Build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external providers
