FMG has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join our team. Our Procurement team aims to support FMG in giving rural New Zealand a better deal! With an established track record of delivering value to the business through building strong long-term partnerships, the team is now growing. As a team, we aim to deliver value for money, support innovation and most importantly enable the business through the provision of procurement expertise, to adopt solutions which achieve value for the wider organisation and our clients.
As our Procurement Specialist, you’ll support and assist to deliver outcomes across the procurement life cycle, including developing and executing Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) strategies, advising and coaching employees on procurement and supply chain processes, and participating in contract renewals.
We are looking for someone with:
- Established procurement and contractual experience in a large, diverse organisation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude; with strong relationship building skills and a never-ending commitment to ensuring FMG’s ongoing success
- A drive to investigate, analyse and solve problems, collaborate, and work alongside a team, achieve targets and embrace change.
