We are seeking a motivated and professional individual to join our Engineering Sales & Estimating Team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career with a progressive MEICA engineering company operating across the Water and Wastewater sectors.
Responsibilities- Prepare technical designs, costings, and formal bid submissions for water and wastewater projects.
- Interpret client specifications, drawings, and documentation to ensure compliant and competitive tenders.
- Price contracts, direct sales, and service enquiries across a range of project scales.
- Attend client meetings and site visits to support tender preparation.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams.
- Develop detailed cost analysis spreadsheets and activity schedules.
- Compile documentation and technical submissions for PQQs and tenders.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental considerations are addressed in proposals.
- Support smooth handover of successful bids to project delivery teams.
- Contribute to internal review meetings and continuous improvement of tender performance.
- Participate in the Integrated Management System (IMS) team to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Assist in business development activities, identifying new opportunities across Ireland.
- Support large framework submissions and client relationship management.
- Collaborate with major framework clients to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Degree or equivalent 3rd-level qualification in Engineering, Surveying, or a related field an advantage.
- Ideally some exposure to Mechanical & Electrical disciplines through coursework, placement, or prior experience preferably in the Water / Wastewater Industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM software.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of ISO management standards (9001, 14001, 45001) is an advantage.
Salary will be competitive and based on skills, experience, and qualifications. 33 days of annual leave, plus an additional day for every 5 years of continuous service. Health and Well-being Plan.
