This position will focus on the pre-construction and development stages of projects, supporting the evaluation, planning and commercial structuring of new hotel and hospitality schemes. Working closely with the development and investment teams, you will play a key role in cost planning, package procurement, post contract administration, helping ensure projects are commercially robust throughout the project cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing early-stage feasibility cost plans and development budgets
  • Managing and reviewing cost plans through concept, design and planning stages
  • Advising on procurement strategy and contract structures
  • Leading the tendering process and contractor procurement
  • Identifying value engineering opportunities while maintaining design and quality objectives
  • Coordinating with architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure design alignment with budget
  • Reviewing tender returns, negotiating with contractors, and preparing recommendations for appointment
  • Monitoring construction costs and reporting to senior management
About You
  • 4+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying within property development, consultancy, or main contracting. (Only the UK based candidates with working permit)
  • Construction / cost planning experience on residential, hotel or mixed-use developments
  • Experience preparing feasibility studies, cost plans, and development appraisals
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working closely with developers, design teams, and contractors
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • MRICS preferred but not essential
