FMCM are a leading main contractor and developer delivering some of central London’s most prestigious, high-end hospitality projects, including five-star hotels and premium developments built to exceptional standards. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Design Manager / Senior Architect to join our in-house design team in a full-time role. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of landmark projects, working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment.
This role would suit someone who is creatively driven yet commercially savvy, with a hands-on approach and a sharp eye for detail, with a proven track record delivering high-end hospitality and hotel projects across all RIBA Stages. This is a key role responsible for leading and managing the design process from concept through to construction completion and handover.
Requirements:
- ARB Registered Architect.
- Minimum 10 years’ post-qualification experience.
- Experienced in delivering hospitality and hotel projects across all RIBA Stages.
- Proven track record managing complex projects through construction and delivery.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, hospitality design standards, and luxury guest experience requirements.
- Experience working within a contractor, developer, design management, or client-side environment.
- Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Planning, Fire Safety, and construction processes.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Ability to perform effectively within a fast-paced construction environment.
