Our client is a highly successful and well-established name in the UK FMCG industry, supplying a mix of branded and own label brands products across UK major trade channels and overseas markets. Known for its collaborative culture and entrepreneurial spirit, the business is focused on long-term growth through innovation, customer service and strategic partnerships.
They are now seeking to appoint a talented National Account Manager to join their food & drink team to help further develop future sales growth objectives. This is a broad-based customer portfolio role including an interesting mix of Wholesale, Convenience Retail and Discounters, where you will have full ownership of all account management activities selling a high-profile range, including some market leading brands within a selection of food, drink, household and healthcare product categories.
Your key objectives will be to drive product listings, distribution, and promotional planning management, all focused on growing sales volumes towards achieving your mutually agreed yearly sales budgets.
The role is home based with a requirement to attend the southern-based head office on a two-weekly basis, or more frequently if this suits your location.
Having commenced your career in sales within the FMCG sector you are looking for a new challenge or to further develop your customer responsibilities in National Account Management within a highly positive, friendly, and professional company, where individuals are well supported, trained and given every opportunity to show what they can do, and to achieve their ambitions.
Having successfully developed your career into National Accounts and currently working at either NAE or NAM level within either Wholesale or Convenience Retail multiple accounts at head office level, you are comfortable with modern customer management activities including category insight selling, promotional planning, CPI/NPD negotiation and building effective customer relationships.
With a highly personable style you embrace working as part of a cross functional team and have a hard working, highly enthusiastic style, with a focus on delivering strong commercial growth results.
