An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Wholesale National Account Manager to join a dynamic and ambitious confectionery manufacturer. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing key wholesale customers, including Bestway, Confex, NBC, Unitas & Costco, driving both sales growth and profitability across a portfolio of leading snack brands.

Key responsibilities:
  • Full P&L accountability for designated wholesale accounts.
  • Delivering growth in line with company targets and strategic brand objectives.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Leading joint business planning, negotiations, and promotional activity.
  • Working cross-functionally with supply chain, finance, and marketing teams to ensure excellent execution.
  • Using insight and data to inform strategy and deliver continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing major wholesale accounts such as Bestway, Booker, or similar.
  • Background in a branded FMCG category, ideally within impulse-led sectors (snacking, confectionery, soft drinks, etc.).
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a track record of delivering profitable growth.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker, able to work independently and influence at all levels.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
Location: This is a home-based role, with regular travel to customers and occasional visits to head office.Benefits:
  • Salary: £55,000 – £65,000
