Ready to take the next step in your career with a leading name in UK sports nutrition? This forward-thinking company has revolutionised the industry with its cutting edge ready-to-drink recovery shakes and continues to expand its portfolio with a diverse range of high-protein products. Designed for exceptional taste and genuine nutritional benefits, their range caters to a variety of dietary needs. Key products include protein shakes and shots, recovery drinks and powders, as well as rehydration tabs. With a strong presence across major grocery and convenience channels and exciting growth plans ahead, they are now looking for a driven National Account Manager to join their team.
As a National Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales across a portfolio of leading branded food products with major retail customers, including Tesco and Morrisons. You will work closely with the Head of Sales and the wider sales team to develop strategic relationships within the top four grocery retailer accounts. This role requires a proactive and commercially focused approach, ensuring strong customer engagement and delivering sales growth in line with business objectives. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will work with the broader commercial team, contributing to the sharing of best practices and driving business success.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of FMCG sales experience and be currently operating at National Account Manager level. Experience managing the Tesco account for 1–2 years is essential, as the role requires someone who can quickly adapt and confidently navigate Tesco’s systems. The role demands a highly self-motivated individual with the ability to build strong, long-term relationships with key customers. A robust character, combined with an outgoing, energetic, and lively personality, will be key to success.
This role offers hybrid working, with the successful candidate expected to be in the company’s London based head office two / three days a week.
A competitive package is on offer, including a salary of £55,000 to £60,000, a £5,500 car allowance, a 20% bonus, pension, and additional benefits.
