An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s fastest-growing frozen food businesses as a National Account Manager. Part of a leading European food group comprising seven companies, the UK division specialises in producing high-quality private label, value-added vegetarian and meat-based frozen and chilled finger foods and party snacks.

The business has built a strong reputation within the industry, earning multiple awards, and boasts a significant presence across major grocery retailers & foodservice channels. With exciting NPD in the pipeline and ambitious growth plans – including the launch of a foodservice-dedicated brand, they are now seeking a National Account Manager to strengthen relationships and drive sales with foodservice customers in the South of England.

The Role

As National Account Manager , you will take responsibility for managing and growing business with leading foodservice wholesalers across the South of England.

Key customers will include established names such as:

  • Bidfood
  • Brakes
  • Booker
  • Thomas Ridley Foodservice
  • JJ Foodservice
  • Kent Frozen Foods (KFF)
  • Savona Foodservice
  • Castell Howell
  • Total Foodservice

In addition, experience of working with End User customers such as Greggs, Subway, Papa John's Pizza Hut, TRG, or other QSRs / restaurant groups would be a distinct advantage.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will play a key role in delivering sales targets, building long-term customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

The Candidate

We are looking for a commercially astute and ambitious sales professional, ideally with experience in wholesale or foodservice account management. To be successful, you will:

  • Currently be working in a field sales or NAM/KAM role within food or drink
  • Have strong account management and negotiation skills
  • Be comfortable managing existing relationships while also driving new business
  • Driven by new business development and ready to grow into a larger, more strategic role

Location

Typically field-based, you will spend four days per week visiting customers and one day working from home. Ideally, you will be based south of Birmingham with easy access to southern wholesalers and customers.

Package

💰 £45,000 – £55,000 (D.O.E)

🚗 Company car (BMW 2 Series Hybrid)

🎯 20% bonus
