Are you an experienced FMCG account manager looking to make your mark in a fast-growing, innovative food brand? We’re partnering with a leading challenger in the branded food and drink space – a household name in their category with over 20 years of heritage. They’ve built a reputation for creating high-quality, great-tasting products that meet modern consumer needs, particularly around health, wellness, and convenience.

Following continued growth and investment, they’re now looking to hire a National Account Manager to take responsibility for a portfolio of key grocery accounts.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you’ll be at the heart of the commercial function – shaping and delivering strategy, building retailer relationships, and working cross-functionally to ensure brand and business success. This is a hands-on, highly autonomous role within a lean, entrepreneurial team, where you’ll have end-to-end ownership and the opportunity to make a genuine impact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and growing major UK grocery retail accounts
  • Full P&L ownership and delivery of account targets
  • Developing and executing joint business plans (JBPs) and annual trading terms
  • Working closely with marketing, NPD, and supply chain to ensure retailer alignment
  • Analysing market trends, EPOS data and shopper insights to identify growth opportunities
  • Leading customer meetings and internal strategy updates
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to a collaborative team culture

About You

You’ll be a commercial and relationship-driven FMCG professional with 8+ years’ experience managing major UK retail customers. Ideally, you’ll bring a strong understanding of the branded food or drink sector, and be confident navigating both strategic and day-to-day conversations with buyers. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment where every voice is heard and impact is encouraged.
