An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s fastest-growing frozen food manufacturers. This award-winning business is known for its innovative approach to high quality, private label value-added products across meat, vegetarian, and dairy categories. With a significant footprint in the grocery retail & Foodservice channels and ambitious plans for future growth, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with a National Account Manager who can drive customer success and support long-term strategic aims.
As National Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for a portfolio of major grocery retail accounts, leading all commercial activity from day-to-day relationship management through to long-term strategy, planning, and growth. Reporting to the Head of Grocery and supported by a National Account Executive, you’ll work cross-functionally with NPD, Supply Chain, and Finance to bring exciting new products to market, ensuring outstanding execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow a portfolio of top UK grocery retail customers
- Lead commercial negotiations, set strategic plans, and oversee P&L performance
- Deliver budgeted sales and margin targets, tracking and forecasting performance
- Champion customer-focused innovation through new product development
- Understand and respond to market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
- Provide strong internal leadership, supporting collaboration across the wider team
- Proven experience as a National Account Manager with UK retail exposure
- Strong background in private label chilled or frozen food
- Experience of working with internal and external NPD teams
- Commercially focused with sharp negotiation and analytical skills
- Highly motivated, detail-driven, and comfortable working autonomously
- Committed to building long-term customer relationships and business success
- £50,000 to £60,000 salary
- 20% performance-based bonus
- Company car or car allowance (£5,400)

This is a fully home-based role, with regular customer meetings and an expectation to attend the South Wales head office two days per fortnight (with overnight stays covered by the business).
