Salary c£35,000 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent). We are recruiting for a Specification Technologist to work with an industry-leading food business based at their UK Head Office in Central London. The company produces a range of speciality handmade products for the major retailers. This is a part-time role working 22.5 hours per week, which can be split across 3 or 4 working days (ideally with 1 or 2 of these days in the office).

The Specification Technologist will be responsible for creating product specifications and ensuring compliance with customer policies. You will also ensure that product artwork is accurate and that technical labelling policies are adhered to.

The successful Specification Technologist will possess the following skills and experiences:

  • Educated to degree level in Food Science or related discipline
  • Experience working in a similar role for a food business supplying major retailers
  • Strong project management skills and experience in creating product specifications
  • Excellent Excel skills and stakeholder management skills
