We’re searching for a Production Manager to join a fast-growing food & beverage manufacturer based in South Hertfordshire. This is an ideal next step for an ambitious Production Supervisor or Team Leader ready to progress into a more senior role.
Working on a small but rapidly expanding site, you’ll have genuine autonomy, wide-ranging responsibility, and the opportunity to shape both the team and production systems as the business continues to scale. You’ll take full ownership of production operations, ensuring products meet quality, safety, and efficiency targets.
Leading and developing a hands-on team across production and packaging, you’ll uphold and improve HACCP, GMP, and SALSA standards. You’ll also manage production planning around forecasts and new launches, driving Continuous Improvement across systems, processes, and team performance.
Skills and experience required:
- Proven background in food or beverage manufacturing, ideally as a Production Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to engage, train, and empower teams
- Excellent understanding of food safety, compliance, and audit processes (HACCP, GMP, SALSA)
- Confident decision-maker with strong organisation and problem-solving capabilities
- Practical, proactive, and hands-on approach with a focus on results and continuous improvement
