A fast-growing, London-based wine business with a curated portfolio spanning globally recognised producers and emerging talent is looking to appoint a Senior Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of growth.

The Opportunity

This is a strategic and hands‐on role, focused on developing new business and strengthening key partnerships across London's high‐end on‐trade, specialist retail, and hospitality sectors. You'll work closely with the leadership, buying, and marketing teams to shape commercial strategy and ensure long‐term client success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new commercial opportunities across the premium London trade.
  • Build and manage strong, long‐term relationships with buyers, sommeliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Represent the business at tastings, portfolio events, and industry trade shows.
  • Collaborate internally to align sales efforts with product strategy and brand messaging.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales planning and performance.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven success in wine sales, business development or account management.
  • Strong existing network across the London on‐trade or independent retail scene.
  • WSET Level 3 (or equivalent experience) with a clear passion for premium wines.

  • Self‐motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to work autonomously.
