GVA Search is excited to partner with a leading Wine and Spirits company in London, to recruit a French Speaking Brand Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their brands. This unique opportunity to work closely with expert buyers, building strong relationships with some of the world's most esteemed wine producers. You'll be at the heart of the operations, monitoring the performance and stock of these exceptional wines, identifying new opportunities, and addressing potential challenges with creativity and insight. This role will work hand-in-hand with their dynamic sales team to craft compelling stories around our wines and ensure they resonate with their discerning customers. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Area 1: Producers
- Work closely with the relevant buyer to build strong relationships between the business and each producer.
- Ensure a detailed understanding of the producers' portfolio, and the priorities within it.
- Pro-active and professional communication.
- For relevant producers, ensure Brand Plans are agreed, actioned, and reviewed throughout the year.
- Area 2: Commercial analysis
- Analyse stock and performance data to identify potential opportunities and issues, and put plans in place to address them.
- Work closely with the sales team to help them sell effectively across the portfolio, in line with overall business priorities.
- Working with and negotiating with producers to ensure they offer support to the most relevant and commercially viable opportunities.
- Area 3: Marketing activities
- Pro-actively organise producer-relevant activity in the UK market – ensuring appropriate activity is carried out.
- Work closely with the marketing and events team to ensure time spent in the UK/Ireland is well-organised and with the sales team to ensure time is well spent.
- Work closely with the copyright and communications team to ensure that relevant awards/scores are quickly and effectively communicated to sales and customers, and for other marketing content (blog, social media etc).
