Group Head of Operations Finance

FMCG Jobs is excited to be supporting a fast-growing, independent drinks business with the search for a Group Head of Operations Finance, a brand-new role that\’s been created as the company scales.
This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a key leadership role where you\’ll take full ownership of operational finance across the group. From financial reporting and compliance through to product costings and process improvements, this role has real breadth and impact. You\’ll be leading a capable team (mainly based near Bungay) and working closely with senior stakeholders across multiple sites to drive consistency, improve systems, and build a future-fit finance function.
What You\’ll Be Getting Stuck Into:
- Leading and developing a hands-on operational finance team
- Overseeing all key finance processes – ledgers, stock, VAT, Beer Duty, product costing, payments and reconciliations
- Delivering accurate and timely management accounts, budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Standardising reporting processes and templates across group companies
- Helping to modernise systems and bring everything under one clear way of working
What We\’re Looking For:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Strong experience in operational finance – ideally in a multi-entity environment
- Confident team leader who enjoys developing people
- Great eye for detail and strong organisation skills
- Tech-savvy – particularly comfortable with Excel and financial systems
