The Role
As a key leader, you’ll manage a team of three regional accountants, overseeing the financial performance of 42 depots. Collaborating with senior leaders, you’ll drive key financial targets, own the P&L, and shape growth opportunities. This isn’t just about numbers – it’s about adding value, driving efficiency, and creating meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver value-adding initiatives.
• Lead commercial reviews and present financial performance insights to senior teams.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Streamline processes and enhance the effectiveness of Commercial Finance activities.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects and ensure departmental objectives are met.
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified or near-qualified accountant with 2+ years’ experience.
• Strong commercial acumen, influencing skills, and a proven track record of delivering results.
• Experience in business partnering, with a focus on driving efficiencies and adding value.
• FMCG or retail sector experience is ideal. SAP experience is a plus.
