We’re looking for a Multi-skilled Day Shift Engineer to help keep our site running at its best. If you thrive in fast-paced FMCG environments, love fault‑finding, and take pride in high standards, this could be your next move.
What you’ll be doing:
- Responding fast to breakdowns and minimising downtime
- Delivering high-quality planned, preventative & predictive maintenance
- Working across low care and high care environments
- Driving continuous improvement, plant uptime and OEE
- Supporting new machinery, site improvements, hygiene and quality
- Working closely with Production, Engineering leaders and contractors
- Maintaining world-class Health, Safety, GMP and hygiene standards
This is a hands‑on, visible role where your expertise genuinely makes a difference every shift.
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years’ FMCG engineering experience (food manufacturing desirable)
- Multi‑skilled Engineer with NVQ Level 3 (or higher)
- Completed engineering apprenticeship
- 17th or 18th Edition certified
- Confident fault‑finder with a proactive, can‑do mindset
- Comfortable working independently, but a strong team player
- Experience in chilled or frozen environments (desirable)
