Technical/ESG Lead – Champion Sustainability in Fresh Produce

The Role
We’re looking for a Technical/ESG Lead to spearhead sustainability initiatives and support our customers with their ESG commitments. Reporting to the Head Technical Manager, you will collaborate with the Group Environmental Manager to assess and enhance the environmental and ethical impact of our business and supply chain.
Your key responsibilities will include:
✔ Developing and implementing sustainability strategies in line with customer expectations and industry regulations.
✔ Coordinating and participating in customer and grower visits.
✔ Managing and analysing key data to track sustainability progress and compliance.
✔ Embedding responsible and ethical practices into daily operations.
What we’re looking for:
We need someone with strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a real passion for sustainability in fresh produce.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
🔹 A solid understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., Manufacture 2030, CDP, WRAP, Courtauld Commitment 2030).
🔹 Experience in fresh produce, food manufacturing, or a related sector.
🔹 Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
🔹 Enthusiasm, a proactive mind-set, and a desire to drive positive change.

📍 Based in Kent
🕗 Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (onsite role)
