We’re looking for a Production Shift Manager to lead one of our key production shifts, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations while building a high-performing, engaged team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead production operations to consistently hit KPI, throughput, and OTIF targets
  • Take full accountability for Health & Safety, driving continuous risk reduction and improvement
  • Manage and develop Production Supervisors and Machine Controllers
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are met at all times
  • Plan production runs to minimise waste and meet customer demand
  • Drive continuous improvement across site standards, processes, and performance
  • Own shift KPIs — celebrating success and leading root cause analysis when targets aren’t met
  • Keep the site audit & visitor ready at all times
  • Lead investigations, disciplinaries, and absence management when required
  • Develop your people through structured training plans and coaching
  • Play an active role in the business’s social and environmental responsibilities

About you:

You’re a confident, hands-on leader who knows how to get the best from large, diverse teams. You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience managing large teams in an operational or production environment
  • Experience in highly automated, complex production facilities
  • IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessments, safe systems of work, and work instructions
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (NAV, Citrix, SAP)
