An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Manager to join a fast-paced and growing food business within the foodservice sector.
This role is ideal for a motivated FMCG sales professional with strong foodservice experience and a passion for building relationships, winning new business, and driving profitable growth across regional key accounts, wholesalers, cash & carry, and large independent customers.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service, maximise profitability, and support the continued growth of the business.
- Manage and grow existing regional key accounts and foodservice customers
- Identify and win new business opportunities across wholesalers, large independents, industrial and manufacturing sectors
- Deliver agreed sales, volume, margin, and profit targets
- Build strong customer relationships through effective negotiation and account management
- Develop and execute promotional activity within wholesalers and cash & carry accounts
- Work cross-functionally with customer service, purchasing, transport, and development teams
Minimum 4 years’ FMCG sales experience within food and drink
Strong foodservice sector knowledge
Proven track record in new business development and account growth
Confident communicator with strong relationship-building ability
IT literate with good Microsoft Office skills
Full UK driving licence preferred due to the field-based nature of the role
