THE OPPORTUNITY: We are looking for someone to join as a Commercial Manager / National Account Manager to manage grocery customers, such as Co-op, Asda, Morrisons & Booths. Our products, both branded and own label are listed in all the major multiples and we are seeking a talented professional with a proven ability to make things happen and to unlock further potential opportunity. This is a pivotal role at the heart of our International and innovative business. Reporting to the UK Sales Director, you will help develop a business plan and sales strategy that will deliver both profit and growth for a significant part of the category. You will manage relationships cross functionally, driving sales, and managing the trade promotional spend. Developing retailer category plans ensuring they integrate with company and sector strategy as well as leading JBP discussions and negotiations.
ABOUT YOU: Ideal candidates will have an FMCG Food background that has provided them with classical sales training and an understanding of the core needs of account management. Ideally you will have come from a more entrepreneurial food background. You will be an action orientated, self-starting and passionate individual with the ability to make things happen and be happy working as part of a small team. The team are talented, hardworking, and very friendly and are prepared to stand for what they believe is right for the brand.
