The Role
As the Category Manager you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong category relationship with retailer counterparts ensuring our client is the go to in their supplier base for category support. You will compile monthly reports using Kantar data, providing retailers with an in-depth view of the latest market performance. As part of the role you will also support the NPD process with key insight that informs the customer need, correct format for the product and opportunities with execution.
The successful Category Manager will have:
- Experience in a Category Manager role or equivalent
- Have experience within private label food
- Passion for achievement; integrity and drive with a strong desire to make things happen
- Ability to influence others positively
- Passionate and enthusiastic
- Strong, confident communicator with good influencing and interpersonal skills with a capability to flex style when appropriate
- Have an analytical/enquiring mind
Salary : Flexible. Dependent on experience and level of person.
Location : Hybrid working – North Yorkshire. Easy access to m62 corridor would be ideal!
