Strategic Account Executive – Industrial AI

Location: United Kingdom (Remote)

Sector: Industrial AI / Enterprise SaaS / Smart Manufacturing / Predictive Analytics

This is a Strategic Account Executive opportunity for someone who knows how to win complex, seven-figure enterprise software deals within industrial manufacturing and wants to play a key role in scaling a market-leading Industrial AI business across EMEA.

We're looking for a proven enterprise SaaS seller with a strong hunter mentality, experience engaging VP and C-level stakeholders, and a track record of consistently delivering Β£1M+ in annual recurring revenue (ARR). You'll know how to navigate complex buying groups, build compelling business cases, and turn strategic conversations into significant new business.

Manufacturers are under increasing pressure to improve operational efficiency, reduce unplanned downtime, and maximise production performance. Industrial AI is transforming how organisations approach these challenges, enabling manufacturers to move beyond reactive maintenance and make smarter, data-driven operational decisions.

Our client is a globally recognised leader in Industrial AI, machine health, and predictive analytics. Having achieved unicorn status and secured significant investment to accelerate its growth, the business is entering an exciting phase of commercial expansion. Its AI-powered technology helps some of the world's largest manufacturers improve equipment reliability, optimise production, and unlock measurable operational value.

With an established market position, an expanding technology portfolio, and ambitious growth plans across EMEA, the business is investing in experienced Strategic Account Executives who can secure major enterprise customers and accelerate new recurring revenue.

The Role

They are seeking a Strategic Account Executive to drive new business growth across the industrial manufacturing sector, targeting large enterprise organisations with complex operational environments.

This is a high-impact, quota-carrying position focused primarily on winning new enterprise customers, building strategic relationships, and closing sophisticated six and seven-figure SaaS agreements.

Operating at the highest level of the commercial organisation, you'll engage senior decision-makers across manufacturing, operations, engineering, reliability, and digital transformation, positioning Industrial AI as a strategic investment rather than simply another software solution.

Success will come from your ability to independently generate opportunities, manage complex multi-threaded sales cycles, and develop value-driven business cases that demonstrate clear operational and financial returns.

You'll work closely with Sales Development, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and wider commercial teams to build pipeline, accelerate opportunities, and consistently deliver against an annual net-new ARR target of approximately Β£1M.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive net-new enterprise SaaS revenue across the industrial manufacturing sector, consistently working towards exceeding a Β£1M+ annual ARR quota.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure strategic enterprise customers through targeted outbound activity, account planning, and executive engagement.
  • Manage complex, six and seven-figure sales opportunities from initial prospecting and qualification through solution development, negotiation, and close.
  • Build relationships with VP and C-level stakeholders across manufacturing, operations, engineering, maintenance, and digital transformation.
  • Develop compelling ROI-led business cases demonstrating the operational and financial value of Industrial AI, predictive analytics, and machine health technology.
  • Navigate complex enterprise buying environments, influencing multiple stakeholders and aligning technical, operational, and commercial decision-makers.
  • Apply structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or Challenger to qualify opportunities and drive predictable sales outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with SDRs, Sales Engineers, Customer Success, and wider commercial teams to accelerate pipeline development and customer acquisition.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and strategic account plans within Salesforce.
  • Contribute to the development of commercial best practices, sales processes, and go-to-market strategies as the business continues to expand across EMEA.

About You

  • 7+ years' experience in enterprise software sales, with a strong track record of winning complex, high-value SaaS agreements.
  • Proven success selling enterprise SaaS solutions into industrial manufacturing organisations.
  • Demonstrable experience managing and closing six and seven-figure enterprise software deals.
  • Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding annual sales quotas, ideally Β£1M+ in net-new ARR.
  • Strong new-business acquisition experience, with the ability to independently generate pipeline and secure major enterprise customers.
  • Experience engaging VP and C-level executives and influencing complex, multi-stakeholder buying decisions.
  • Strong understanding of value-based selling, with the ability to build compelling ROI-driven business cases.
  • Experience using structured enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or Challenger.
  • Excellent executive communication, commercial negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Preferred experience

  • Experience selling Industrial AI, predictive maintenance, asset performance management, manufacturing operations, or industrial analytics software.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and the operational challenges associated with equipment reliability, production efficiency, and unplanned downtime.
  • Experience selling complex software solutions into large multinational manufacturing organisations.
  • Background working within high-growth SaaS businesses, scale-ups, or organisations undergoing significant commercial expansion.
  • Experience developing new territories, establishing enterprise relationships, and building strategic sales pipelines from the ground up.
  • Familiarity with collaborative, pod-based sales structures involving SDRs, Sales Engineers, and Customer Success teams.
  • Experience contributing to sales playbooks, go-to-market strategies, and commercial process improvements.

Why Apply

This is an opportunity to join one of the most exciting businesses operating at the intersection of Industrial AI, enterprise SaaS, and smart manufacturing.

With unicorn status, significant financial backing, and a proven technology platform already delivering measurable value to global manufacturers, the business has established a strong foundation for its next phase of growth.

You'll be joining at a particularly exciting time, as the organisation accelerates its commercial expansion across EMEA and continues investing in its strategic enterprise sales function.

Unlike traditional enterprise software sales roles, you'll be selling technology that directly influences manufacturing performance, helping customers reduce downtime, improve productivity, and generate substantial operational savings.

You'll have the opportunity to own major enterprise opportunities, engage senior executives at some of the world's largest manufacturers, and play a visible role in shaping the commercial success of a rapidly expanding Industrial AI business.

For someone who thrives on winning complex deals, building strategic customer relationships, and consistently exceeding ambitious revenue targets, this is an opportunity to make a significant impact.

Additional Information

  • Remote position based in the United Kingdom.
  • Individual contributor role with no direct line management responsibilities.
  • Annual net-new ARR quota of approximately Β£1M.
  • Opportunity to support wider commercial expansion across EMEA.
  • Domestic and international travel of approximately 35% may be required.
  • Competitive compensation package, including commission and potential equity participation.
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
