You know that great tenders don’t happen by accident. They come from strong processes, clear ownership, and teams that are brought in early enough to do their best work. You’ve built your experience in healthcare bids and tenders, leading from the front and keeping everything organised, on track, and high quality.
You might be frustrated by being reactive. Pulled in too late, asked to fix things at the last minute, and given limited influence over how bids are shaped. What you want now is proper ownership of the tenders process, recognition for your specialist expertise, and the space to build and develop a brilliant team. This role gives you that.
You’ll lead a bids team within a market-leading medical devices business, with responsibility for delivering high-quality submissions against clear SLAs. With visibility, influence, and a business that invests in its people and development, it’s a role built for someone who wants to raise standards and be seen for the impact they make.
Who’s it for and what’s in it for you? Do you like to push boundaries? So does our client. When it comes to engineering, manufacturing and marketing medical devices, they like to reinvent the status quo. Their approach is leading medical discovery, diagnostic, and patient care delivery improvements across the globe.
They care about their people too. You’ll join somewhere where you can really grow your career, through structured training, access to development programmes, and a culture that’s built on helping people to thrive. Plus, you’ll access a whole host of benefits, ranging from a performance incentive scheme, to medical coverage, to supported wellness initiatives (including access to an EAP). No wonder they won a Top Employer award for the UK last year!
What will your day to day look like? You will oversee the coordination of complex tender submissions while providing leadership and coaching to your team. An average day will look like:
- Leading and developing a team of Tender & Bid Specialists and Administrators
- Overseeing end to end tender and bid processes
- Handling Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Monitoring team performance and identifying gaps
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for process enhancement
- Coordinating tender and bid submissions to ensure timely results
This is perfect for someone who gets satisfaction out of quality processes but also loves being a hands-on people manager. The best of both worlds!
This role will suit you if you…
- Have a degree in business, science or economics
- Have 3+ years of experience in tender and bid
- Understand the tender processes within the healthcare industry
- Can draft complex tenders and bids
Think this could be your next role? Then we’d love to hear from you!
