We are supporting a well-respected, market-leading ophthalmic company in their search for a Myopia Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an appetite to work in a field-based role looking to join a market-leading company and progress their career in eye care.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Acting as a Myopia expert, working with optometrists and eye care professionals in Optical Retail and the Independent sector.
  • Creating deeper connections and business relationships with Ophthalmologists within the NHS Hospital network.
  • Driving a higher rate of engagement across the territory.
  • Delivering clinical and skills training, large group presentations and workshops.
  • Creating new relevant training and educational support tools.
  • Delivering CPD training, group workshops and educational events.
  • Building relationships with the eye clinic staff within NHS Hospitals.
  • Ensuring weekly reporting of your activity.
  • Participating in trade shows and professional events.

A bit about you:

  • Ideally, you’ll be based in North West, UK, within commutable distance to Manchester, Liverpool and Sheffield.
  • You’ll have field-based sales experience and/or experience in dispensing optics.
  • Plus, an education to degree level.
  • Experience managing a sales territory.
  • Industry experience working with ophthalmic lenses and/or the Myopia Management category of optics.
  • Comfortable presenting technical information.
  • An understanding of managing and hitting KPIs.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and results orientated.
  • Warm, professional, bubbly, and tenacious.
