This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career sales professional with an engineering or scientific background who wants to build a long-term career in sales. You’re comfortable talking about scientific tech and you like understanding how products actually work, not just how to sell them. What you want now is a role that gives you direction and helps you build real momentum in your career.
You might be feeling held back by unclear progression or a lack of responsibility. Doing the job, hitting targets, but not really being seen or stretched. You’re looking for structured processes, proper mentoring, and a culture where development is taken seriously and effort doesn’t go unnoticed.
This Inside Sales Manager role gives you that platform. You’ll join a values-driven climate tech business with a purpose-led product, clear targets, and the support to grow your skills and confidence. It’s a role built for someone who wants visibility, impact, and a clear path forward as their sales career develops.
Our client provides tech to companies that are working to advance science and technology for environmental purposes with the ultimate goal of benefitting mankind. They design and manufacture systems that use data to produce actionable insights that help companies around the world to be more prepared to mitigate the risks of extreme climate events – think clean air and water, safe infrastructure, reliable food supplies, and more.
It’s not just the environment they care about either, they also really look after their people. So whether you care about working flexibly, or want an employer who cares about your development, they’ve got you covered.
What will your day to day look like? You will be responsible for maintaining efficient sales processes and delivering clear, effective customer communication and support throughout the entire sales cycle. A typical day may include:
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth sales operations
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and partners
- Responding to customer inquiries regarding orders
- Preparing and managing quotations for products
- Providing logistical support for events
- Assisting in solving customer problems and ensuring their success
This role will suit you if you…
- Have 1-3 years' experience in technical sales
- Understand technical/engineering driven industries
- Have a degree in life sciences, environmental sciences or engineering fields
- Understand scientific measurement systems and their applications
If you can speak another language too (French, German, Spanish) that would be a plus, but it’s not an essential!
