What will your day to day look like? Growth! That’s what this role is all about. You’ll be tasked with growing market share, the customer base, and ultimately revenue. You’ll be in the field with your team and with customers, making sure they get the absolute best out of their products.

There’s also coaching and mentoring involved in this role. You’ll be leading a team of Territory Managers, giving them the support and direction they need to overachieve and reach their goals.

So how does this play out day-to-day? Well, an average week might look a little like:

  • Leading and coaching your team to hit their targets
  • Developing strategies for your region
  • Engaging with customers to reduce barriers
  • Leading on formulary and clinical guidance processes
  • Setting and tracking KPIs for your team
  • Forecasting sales, risks, and opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with KOLs
  • Pushing CRM management as a business development tool
  • Monitoring product performance in your region

  • Have over 3 years’ experience in medical device sales management
  • Regularly overachieve on your sales targets
  • Have sold consumables to the chronic or secondary care sectors
  • Have experience with ICBs and an understanding of the associated challenges
  • Can develop and mentor a high-performing team
  • Know how to manage multiple product portfolios
  • Experience gained with ICB’s and understanding the challenges that come with this.
  • Talk the language of clinical customers
  • Love being out in the field meeting KOLs
  • Know how to put patients front and centre in a sale
  • Have a player-manager mentality

You’ll need to travel across your region in this role too, so being comfortable with this is key.
