You know the difference between managing accounts and really owning them. You’ve spent a few years in B2B SaaS, you understand public sector buying cycles, and you’re comfortable with tenders and RFIs. What you want now is a role where you can be more strategic, more influential, and more visible in the impact you make. You might be feeling stuck in reaction mode. Too much time responding, not enough time planning. You’re looking for ownership of customers, a product you can genuinely stand behind, and the autonomy to drive ARR growth.
This role gives you that next step. You’ll join a construction technology business that’s scaling, with responsibility for growing revenue from existing public sector and built environment accounts. You’ll have space for the role to grow with you, clear progression, and the backing of a values-led company that trusts you to do your best work and rewards the impact you have.
Connecting data and people is at the heart of what our client does. Their supply-chain focused Contech software is designed to improve the environmental impact construction and maintenance industries have on the world, in the hopes of building a more sustainable future. And with thousands of customers across the globe, they’re making a big impact.
Why join them? Their approach is to ‘put people first’ in everything they do, and it’s never more clear than in the way they treat their employees. From private healthcare, wellbeing support (via an EAP) and generous parental leave policies, to access to financial advice and discounts on your shopping, they’ve got a whole host of benefits that you’ll get from day one. They’re also carbon neutral and conscious of their impact on the environment. If you are too then they’ll help you make a difference, whether it’s through their ‘plant a tree initiative’ or taking your three days off a year for volunteering.
What will your day to day look like? You’ll own revenue growth across a portfolio of lining and signing solutions. An average day may look like:
- Identifying and maintaining relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders
- Working with marketing to produce campaigns and events to generate new leads
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of the target market
- Gathering customer pain points, competitor information and market development
- Providing accurate sales forecasts
- Attending industry events
- Obtaining feedback from customers and identifying areas of improvement
Success in this role looks like achieving your ARR targets. This role will suit you if you…
- Have 3+ years of SaaS sales experience
- Have built environment industry or digital transformation experience
- Understand the design software space
- Have closed new logo and can cross-sell sales
- Can close sales involving senior stakeholders
- Are degree level educated
- Have experience to deal with complex contractual negotiations
