What you’ll be doing: As a Business Development Manager with a focus on Renewable Energy within the Asset Reliability sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and delivering long-term strategic client and channel (reseller/agent) relationships for the Renewables Oil, Gas and Wind category within our business. Your day-to-day might look a little like this:

  • Identify and deliver long-term strategic client relationships for the Renewables sector
  • Take responsibility for the Business Development team’s technical proposals and bids
  • Seek out opportunities for potential work by identifying new and existing target customers, new target regions and new target projects as appropriate
  • Support the Business Development Head and wider team in devising, implementing, monitoring and executing the sales strategy
  • Work closely with the Delivery team to ensure smooth handover

A bit about you: Ideally, you’ll be based in the UK. You’ll hold an engineering degree or equivalent, preferably working with or towards a Chartered or Incorporated qualification. A few other key skills our client is looking for:

  • Experience of load monitoring equipment or a background in an engineering/technical (desirable)
  • Experience linked to the UK Renewables community, specialising in Wind, Oil and Gas (desirable)
  • Must be a team player
  • Previous IT experience (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, ability/attitude to learn new apps etc)
  • Hold a full UK Driving license
