We are seeking a Tax Coordinator who will report to the Regional Indirect Tax LATAM.
Location: Campinas, SP
The Role
- Ensure indirect tax compliance requirements for Mexico legal entities.
- Perform tax calculations for indirect taxes (VAT, IEPs, WHTs).
- Prepare and submit tax returns, payments, and necessary documentation.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations, present blackline reports, and explain or propose adjustments for accounting entries.
- Validate invoices through workflow analysis.
- Research and resolve complex tax issues to identify solutions.
- Manage and maintain the company's tax database (TAX IT Projects and Tickets).
- Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend strategies to improve profitability.
- Ensure compliance with regulations by submitting required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
- Serve as the internal process owner for audits related to the area, supporting document retrieval and inquiries.
- Manage the monthly VAT refund process and respond to authorities' requirements.
- Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies to reduce tax burden.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service, Logistics, and Export) to support invoice-related issues and projects.

- Deep knowledge of tax regulations in Mexico.
