We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Media Partnerships Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of FMC's commercial partners.

This is a strategic account management role focused on developing long-term relationships, understanding clients' business objectives and delivering tailored, integrated media and event solutions that help them achieve their marketing goals.

You will become a trusted partner to your clients, helping them develop annual marketing strategies across FMC's extensive portfolio while identifying new opportunities to grow revenue and maximise return on investment.

You'll be responsible for managing accounts, developing new business opportunities where appropriate and delivering exceptional customer service throughout every stage of the client journey.

This varied and rewarding role includes regular travel across the UK for client meetings, industry events, conferences and exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of FMC's commercial accounts.
  • Build trusted, long-term partnerships with clients through outstanding account management.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to develop strategic 12 month media and event plans aligned to their business objectives.
  • Deliver tailored, multi-channel marketing solutions across FMC's print, digital, events, webinars, awards and social media portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities to increase client investment through creative campaign ideas and innovative commercial solutions.
  • Consistently uncover new revenue opportunities within existing accounts and new prospects.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every client experiences a proactive and consultative approach.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions and client meetings across the UK.
  • Work closely with internal editorial, events and marketing teams to ensure campaigns are delivered successfully.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 5 years' sales experience, ideally in media sales, account management or consultative roles.
  • A proven track record of managing and growing commercial accounts.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
  • Experience developing strategic client relationships rather than purely transactional sales.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
  • A creative mindset with the confidence to develop innovative marketing solutions.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Self motivated, proactive and results driven.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
