Overview: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a reputable and growing Facilities Management company operating across Essex & East London. This is a mobile role, working across a portfolio of commercial sites, delivering both planned and reactive maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems
  • Service, repair, and maintain commercial boilers, heating systems, and associated plant
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with current gas safety regulations and company standards
  • Complete accurate job reports and documentation
  • Liaise with clients on-site and provide a high level of customer service
  • Participate in an on-call rota where required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer within a facilities management or building services environment
  • Relevant commercial gas qualifications (e.g. CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, etc.)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills
