We are supporting a leading renewable energy contractor in their search for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join their team, working across commercial and utility-scale solar projects throughout the North East and wider UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified professional looking to develop their experience within a growing and forward-thinking sector.

The Role

  • Installation and maintenance of commercial roof-mounted Solar PV systems (100kW+)
  • Support on large-scale ground mount arrays up to 20MW
  • Conducting electrical works including inspection, testing, commissioning and fault finding
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Working away from home occasionally on a planned basis

What We’re Looking For

  • Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3, AM2 or equivalent)
  • Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience in Solar PV installation and maintenance is ideal, but not essential
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
  • Willingness to travel and stay away when required
  • Full UK driving licence
