We are supporting a leading renewable energy contractor in their search for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join their team, working across commercial and utility-scale solar projects throughout the North East and wider UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified professional looking to develop their experience within a growing and forward-thinking sector.
The Role
- Installation and maintenance of commercial roof-mounted Solar PV systems (100kW+)
- Support on large-scale ground mount arrays up to 20MW
- Conducting electrical works including inspection, testing, commissioning and fault finding
- Ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Working away from home occasionally on a planned basis
What We’re Looking For
- Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3, AM2 or equivalent)
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent) preferred
- Experience in Solar PV installation and maintenance is ideal, but not essential
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
- Willingness to travel and stay away when required
- Full UK driving licence
