Overview: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established Facilities Management company operating across Manchester and surrounding areas. This is a mobile role, working across a portfolio of commercial properties delivering both planned and reactive maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across commercial sites
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on electrical systems and equipment
- Maintain lighting systems, power distribution, emergency lighting, and control systems
- Ensure all work is completed in line with current electrical regulations and safety standards
- Complete job reports and maintain accurate records
- Liaise with clients on-site and provide a high level of customer service
- Support with general building services maintenance where required
- Participate in a 1 in 4 on-call rota
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (essential)
- Proven experience within Facilities Management / commercial maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Basic air conditioning knowledge (preferred)
