We're recruiting a Maintenance Electrician to join a growing FM team covering commercial sites across the Central Belt. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering a competitive salary, company vehicle, and long-term career development.
The Role
As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a diverse portfolio of client sites.
Key duties will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns
- Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues
- Undertaking minor electrical installations and repairs
- Emergency lighting maintenance and testing
- Ensuring compliance with current electrical regulations
- Completing maintenance reports and compliance documentation
- Building positive relationships with clients and site teams
- Participation in the on-call rota when required
About You
Essential
- Approved Electrician
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Previous experience within Facilities Management, Building Services, or Commercial Maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- City & Guilds 2391, 2394 or 2395 Testing & Inspection
- Experience carrying out electrical testing and inspection
- Previous experience in a mobile engineering role
