We are recruiting an experienced Lift Engineer to join a leading lift engineering company, working across a portfolio of commercial contracts throughout the Central Belt of Scotland. This is a field-based role focused on the service, maintenance, and fault-finding of passenger and goods lifts within commercial environments. The successful candidate will join a well-established engineering team and benefit from strong support, structured training, and long-term career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on passenger and goods lifts
- Attend reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs
- Fault-finding and repair of electrical and mechanical lift systems
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations and company procedures
- Accurately complete service reports and documentation
- Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts, and colleagues
- Participate in the on-call rota as required
About You
- Qualified Lift Engineer with proven experience in commercial environments
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of current lift regulations and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Customer-focused with a professional approach
- Full UK driving licence
